As Academic Technology Specialist, Mae supports core technologies like Canvas and Qualtrics, as well as a range of instructional tools, to empower instructors, researchers, and students. Additionally, Mae takes an active role in planning and advancing pedagogy and content for future quarters. Using blended learning and technology as the base, Mae curates a balanced set of tools to augment learning experiences at the GSE.
Before coming to the GSE, Mae worked for 5 years at the Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Technical Resource Specialist and Academic Technology Specialist. She trained, documented, and performed troubleshooting for all online learning platforms. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In her free time she is either watching Netflix or working on her land in Scotts Valley.
