The Spring 2013 issue of Digital Initiatives highlights ways that GSE faculty, staff, and students are using iPads for teaching and research. Features include the public installation Bike to Scale that Shelley Goldman, Megan Luce, and Tanner Vea are using to engage families in science, the iPad as an ethnographic data collection tool that Ari Kelman and his research team will use at the Jewish Culture Festival in Poland this summer, and in the EDUC 285 course, iPads as a multi-functional devices that can help reduce the barriers for students with special needs.
