The Fall 2013 issue of Digital Initiatives highlights CSET’s use of tablets to stimulate collaboration amongst educators in their Stanford Summer Teaching Institute, and a JavaScript coding effort by GSE-IT for the online survey tool, Qualtrics, aimed at designing a customized and more intuitive research instrument. The issue also provides details on five upcoming edtech workshops that will be offered to the GSE community this quarter and information about a pilot test of the open source learning platform, Canvas, that is being examined to replace GSE’s Blackboard LMS.
