This level of service is intended for sites that require custom design and complex programming. While these sites may be built in Drupal, they may or may not be appropriate for the Stanford hosting environment. The GSE IT will help you determine what technology and hosting environment is most appropriate for the project.

These projects rely on vendor services. To improve the success, quality, and efficiency of vendor projects, the GSE IT can provide consultation from project discovery through vendor selection and beyond. Vendors are required to have a demonstrated record of high quality service and an understanding of Stanford identity guidelines and web infrastructure. GSE IT will provide a list of Stanford-vetted vendors.

GSE IT will provide a set of guidelines for the vendor to follow.

Before processing vendor payment, GSE Finance team will check with Director of Web Services, whether the project was approved for vendor contract. GSE IT will also provide GSE Finance Team with access to the Web Project database.

Cost

Cost is determined on a per-project basis. Vendor charges are passed through directly to the client. Project consultation & guidance provided by GSE IT are free.
