Shawn, an educational technology specialist and technology support associate, is responsible for providing support to faculty and conducting various workshops. Since joining Stanford GSE-IT in 2005, Shawn has taken a role in administering Blackboard, Canvas and Qualtrics as well as in training student, staff, and faculty in various Academic programs such as MS Office, Endnote, Qualitative software (Hyperresearch and Nvivo), Flash, and Windows Movie Maker. She also has working knowledge of observation-based qualitative research and experiment-based quantitative research design and data analysis.

Shawn received her bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and master's degree in Industrial and System Engineering and worked at Hewlett Packard for 4 years managing client/server application and system design projects.
