Students were asked to open their textbooks and generate questions about cell biology. Students took pictures of figures from their textbook.
Questions were primarily simple recall questions and students had very little difficulty creating them.
The students were immediately proficient using the mobile technology.
Each student generated his/her own questions and competed against each other to see who could create the highest-rated question and who could answer the most questions correctly, which is a model allowing every student to participate.
